Over the past 33 years, Rev. Kenneth Levingston has pastored fruitful congregations in rural, urban, suburban, and multicultural settings. He believes, teaches and preaches the word of God in a manner that requires the hearer to come face to face with the heart of God. He is passionate about “following Jesus and doing what Jesus did,” love, serve, reach, teach and pray. Pastor Levingston’s life reflects his belief that living a “Higher Way” means submitting one’s self in love and service to others. Pastor Levingston was appointed to Jones Memorial United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas, on September 1, 2008. During his time there, the church membership has increased from a little more than 600 to over 1700.
