Rev. Dr. Sondra Wheeler is the Carr Professor of Christian Ethics at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington D.C. She works in bioethics, historical sources of theological ethics, and the virtue tradition, as well as in biblical ethics.  Her publications include Wealth as Peril and Obligation: The New Testament on Possessions, Stewards of Life: Bioethics and Pastoral Care, The Love We Were Made For, a pair of books in the arena of ethics and pastoral practice, Minister as Moral Theologian and Sustaining Ministry.
